The Paris Biofoundry to Participate in the Global Biofoundry Alliance Summit 2025
The Paris Biofoundry is pleased to announce its participation in the Global Biofoundry Alliance (GBA) Summit 2025, which will take place on September 18–19, 2025, at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, United States.
The annual GBA Summit is the principal gathering of the international biofoundry community. It brings together leaders, researchers, engineers, and institutional representatives from across the globe to share technological advances, discuss operational strategies, and collectively shape the future of automated and data-driven biology.
As France’s first academic biofoundry, the Paris Biofoundry views this event as a key opportunity to strengthen its engagement within the global biofoundry network. Participation in the Summit will enable our team to present recent progress in automation, standardized Design–Build–Test–Learn (DBTL) workflows, and collaborative infrastructure development, while exchanging best practices with peer institutions.
Beyond scientific discussions, the Summit provides a strategic platform to align visions, enhance interoperability between biofoundries, and foster new international collaborations aimed at accelerating innovation in synthetic biology.
The Paris Biofoundry remains committed to contributing actively to the Global Biofoundry Alliance and to advancing a coordinated, open, and impactful global ecosystem for engineering biology.
