The Paris Biofoundry recently welcomed a South Korean delegation composed of members of the Korean Biofoundry, representatives of the Ministry of Science and ICT, and associated institutional stakeholders.
During the meeting, both teams presented their respective infrastructures, automation pipelines, and strategic priorities in synthetic biology. The Paris Biofoundry introduced its distributed academic model, high-throughput DNA assembly, microbial and cell-free engineering capabilities, and scale-up facilities.
Our Korean counterparts shared their recent breakthroughs and national initiatives aimed at reinforcing South Korea’s leadership in biofoundry development.
The discussions focused on potential collaborative initiatives, including knowledge exchange, workflow interoperability, and opportunities for joint research and innovation projects.
This meeting reflects the growing importance of international partnerships in advancing automated biological engineering and fostering a globally connected biofoundry community.
