The Paris Biofoundry was honored to host a delegation of researchers from New Zealand tasked with evaluating European biofoundry models.

During their visit to Sorbonne Université and the Paris Biofoundry facilities, the delegation met with our team to better understand our distributed structure, technological capabilities, and operational model.

We presented our automated Design–Build–Test–Learn workflows, DNA assembly services, cell engineering platforms, and scale-up capacities, as well as our collaborative framework supporting academic and industrial partners.

The delegation shared their national objectives and discussed the possibility of establishing their own biofoundry infrastructure or developing partnerships with existing European platforms.

This exchange reflects the growing international interest in biofoundry infrastructures and highlights the role of the Paris Biofoundry as a reference model in academic synthetic biology.
